Do you support Mac and PC systems? We’ve previously had to get two IT companies to help us.
Yes! Our team are experts in both Mac and PC. We understand that both systems have varying strengths and weaknesses within certain types of business.
How quickly will I get an answer to an issue? Answer
Your response time is defined within your Service Level Agreement with us and is guaranteed. When calling in, or emailing your ticket goes to the response team and these are usually solved by providing you with verbal or written instructions, sometimes using remote access to your computer. Response rates can vary depending on the complexity of the problem.
We’re not based in Frome – Can you still help us?
Yes, absolutely, we cover an area from Bath to Yeovil and have clients spread throughout Somerset, Wiltshire, BANES and Dorset.
How much will it cost me?
Pricing depends on how many devices you wish to be covered under the support contract. This will be discussed and agreed during the onboarding process. Ad-Hoc work is chargeable at our hourly rate. Please call us on 01373 47010 for more details
If I wanted you to support my business, how long would an agreement take to setup?
Within 2 business days. If you do not currently have an IT support company supporting your business, then the process can take a couple of hours. If you do have an IT support company currently supporting your business, we will need all relevant details from them before we can start to support you. But don’t worry, we will liaise directly with your current IT support company to make the transition smooth.
What if I’m not happy with your services?
Please tell us! We constantly ask for your feedback so that we can improve our services. We also offer guarantees on our work and services so you can feel confident that we are true to what we say. We are also members of the Devon and Somerset Trading Standards Buy With Confidence Scheme.
Do you provide 24 hour support?
Yes, if your support contract allows for this. If you are a new customer we will discuss your support requirements during the onboarding process. For existing clients please contact us if you wish to change your requirements.
How big is geekingITsimple?
We are a team of 5, but rapidly growing. Our team come from varying backgrounds, from Education and Supply Chain to Admin and Local Government.
Do you just do IT Support?
No! We also offer training and consultation services, along with VOIP phone systems, Cyber Insurance, Office 365 Migrations, Server installs and much more.
What equipment is supported?
In short, your entire network is supported! Printers, switches, firewalls, and of course PCs, Laptops and Macs. Having identified the equipment covered by your support contract, we can proactively monitor, protect and update your systems, for optimal operation.
What equipment don’t you support?
We don’t offer support for your home devices as part of a support contract, but we do offer an ad-hoc service for these. Some specialist software is also not supported by us, due to the complexities of the software. We are happy to liaise with the software manufacturers to fix any issues however.
We have existing suppliers. Will you work with them?
Yes, and we will be happy to act on your behalf should you wish us to.
