GDPR Compliance
I am sure you all still remember the panic back in May when the new GDPR (Data Protection) laws came into effect. If you continue to run any of the software mentioned above after it becomes unsupported you will be in breach of the GDPR regulations as they state “companies must only use fully supported software”. Not a big issue in itself, but if you sustained a data breach (which will be more likely running unsupported software) then the Information Commissioners Office will use this to build a case against you.
